About Seigakai Study Circle

Seigakai – Masako Hirako Kimono Dressing Study Circle was founded by the late Masako Hirako to preserve and teach the authentic traditions of Japanese dress and etiquette.

Rooted in classical costume knowledge and the spirit of emondo, the study circle explores kimono dressing from everyday wear to formal court attire with grace and care.

Regular workshops are held each year from May through November in Omiya. Applications are welcomed at any time.

Together, we learn and carry forward the elegance of Japanese tradition.
